START PAC has designed the START PAC GREEN, a unique modular battery-powered GPU to replace diesel and gas-powered units. Currently, most GPUs are powered with diesel engines, which are loud, environment polluting, expensive to run and maintain. The START PAC GREEN is the first of its kind and has been specifically designed to replace these old, polluting GPUs.
Unique features:
• A larger battery bank for powering up the aircraft systems for extended periods of time.
• A portable battery bank, that can be removed from the GPU, for engine starting.
• Built-in battery chargers to replenish both battery banks.
The START PAC GREEN offers emission-free and silent operations. The otal cost of operation (including recharging the battery bank) is about half of an equivalent diesel-powered unit.
