Each Exhibitor Zone is unique to include specific information for each and every show, region and industry.


As trade events are starting up again, you should know that some of the most experienced organizations and individuals in our industry have already been working together to provide guidelines and recommend best practices for the safest possible events. Please review both the Kallman and the show organizer guidelines as they are very important to your travels.

We are following the coordinated advice of the WHO, CDC, local Ministries of Health and individual show organizers to implement best practices and precautions at all of our events. Please refer to these international authorities for further guidance:

Travel to Colombia and COVID-19

  •  As per the Colombian Embassy, a negative PCR test is NOT required to get into the country. Travelers will not be denied entry for lack of a negative PCR test. 
  • Test must be within 72 Hours
  • Please review before booking your flight: Limited international flights have resumed to eight of Colombia’s busiest airports:  Bogota, Cartagena, Medellin (Rionegro), Cali, Barranquilla, Armenia, Pereira, and Bucaramanga.

Returning to the USA and COVID-19 (confirm the latest information on this and update as needed)

  • Air passengers traveling to the US are required to present a negative COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery. Airlines must confirm the negative test result or documentation of recovery for all passengers before boarding.
  • Test must be done  3 days before the flight’s departure. (By using a 3-day window, test validity does not depend on the time of the flight or the time of day that the test was administered.)


PCR Testing Locations


  • A PCR and/or antigen tests available for U.S. citizens in Colombia.
  • The Colombian Health Ministry maintains a list of facilities that provide COVID-19 tests here
  • U.S. Embassy Bogota maintains a list of facilities here
  • U.S. citizens in Colombia should use this list or may be able to use a delivery app such as Rappi. You must pay for your own test. Neither the Colombian government nor the U.S. Embassy will pay for COVID-19 tests. The average cost of testing varies widely, from about 100,000 Colombian pesos for an antigen test to as much as 300,000 Colombian pesos for a PCR test.
  •  Occasionally, the city of Bogota offers no-cost COVID-19 testing, additional information can be found here.

Build-Up and Dismantle
Build-Up Hours:

8:00am – 8:00pm 

Stands must be finished and ready by 28 November at 20:00. After that time, a fine will be imposed to the stand builder.

Heavy machinery and vehicles must be in place by 27 November
Fine of 600.000 COP + 160.000 COP for services

Safety Clothing

High visibility clothing or vest, helmet and covered footwear are not required for the build up and dismantle period. However, we do recommend taking precaution while onsite during build-up and dismantle with proper attire.


Parking Information

The car parks available for Expodefensa will be: $64.100 COP for 1 car for 6 days (27 November to 3 December) - Exhibitors can buy the Parking Passes on site at Servicios PLUS/ Plataforma Unificada de Servicios.

Exhibitor Badges
They all will be available at the Expodefensa Exhibition center, at the Servicio Plus counters Opening hours: from 8:00am to 5:30pm

EXHIBITOR BADGES will be delivered only and directly to the Expodefensa exhibition, upon presentation of a valid ID or passport. You will be able to pick-up your badge, as well as your company’s badges at the same time if you wish. - STAND BUILDERS & PROVIDERS BADGES will be also available on site by presenting the ID and a copy of the client’s Exhibitor contract. It is also required to present the EPS (Social Security) and ARL (Labor Risk Insurance). All the badges are edited and printed on site

To login to the EXHIBITOR PORTAL, use your company email address and click “forgot password”. Follow the email prompts to reset your password and gain access. If there are any issues please contact your Exhibitor Services team.

Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP)

The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is a free service to allow U.S. citizens and nationals traveling abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Read More

By enrolling in STEP, you will:

  • Receive important information from the Embassy about safety conditions in your destination country, helping you make informed decisions about your travel plans.
  • Help the U.S. Embassy contact you in an emergency, whether natural disaster, civil unrest, or family emergency.
  • Help family and friends get in touch with you in an emergency.


Visa Requirements

All U.S. citizens who do not also hold Colombian citizenship must present a valid U.S. passport to enter and leave Colombia. U.S. citizens do not need a Colombian visa for a tourist or business stay of 90 days or less. 
Review the following:

  • Before the visa expires, you may request an extension of up to 90 days from the Colombian immigration authority (Migración Colombia). 
  • You will face a fine if you remain in Colombia longer than allowed, and you will not be able to leave Colombia until the fine is paid. 
  • Any traveler possessing a Colombian visa with more than three months’ validity must register the visa at a Migración Colombia office or online within 15 days of arrival in Colombia or face fines. 
  • You may be denied entry to Colombia if you do not have a return ticket. Visit the U.S. Embassy of Colombia website for the most current visa information.
