Finance Coordinator

Kallman Worldwide, a well-established leader in the international exhibition industry for nearly 60 years, is looking for a full-time Finance Coordinator to join its growing finance team.  This position is ideal for an organized self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced events environment.  The ideal candidate has an interest in international business and is deadline-driven with a good attention to detail. 

 

Finance Coordinator Responsibilities include (but not limited to): 

  • Accounts Payable: includes processing domestic and foreign invoices in system, coding, verifying approvals, and currency conversion 
  • Review open customer invoices:  check for unapplied payments and processing errors; work with sales team to determine which customers need past due invoice reminders and send email reminders 
  • Reconcile corporate credit card accounts to card holder’s receipts; work with card holders to ensure receipts and required information is received timely 
  • Reconcile Company PayPal account credit card transactions to credit card payments processed in system.  Batch & post transactions to General Ledger in system.   
  • Prepare customer checks deposit, record payments to customer accounts, take deposit to the bank, and process general ledger transactions in accounting system 
  • Petty cash reconciliations for USD and all foreign currencies maintained in cash 
  • Review client contracts against data entered in system, then generate and email invoices to clients 
  • Assist Finance Manager/Sr. Accountant in preparing VAT/GST worksheets & collecting support for our VAT consultants in the countries where we are registered for VAT/GST 

 

Qualifications/Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required; 1+ year of accounting or finance experience a plus 
  • Advanced skills in Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)  
  • Understanding of fully integrated accounting software; Experience with Ungerboeck event software a plus 
  • Analytical skills and detail-oriented 
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills 
  • Able to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
