Our public sector partners represent the national interests of the United States, their counterparts in Spain, and are the points of contact for trade and development influencers in the European region.

United States Department of Commerce

The mission of the Department of Commerce is to create the conditions for economic growth and opportunity.  An ideal locally-based ally for US-exporters. 

U.S. Commercial Service

The U.S. Commercial Service is the trade promotion arm of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration. U.S. Commercial Service trade professionals in over 100 U.S. cities and in more than 75 countries help U.S. companies get started in exporting or increase sales to new global markets.

United States Embassy, Spain

Spain, with a GDP of USD 1.3 trillion and a population of 47 million people, is the fourth-largest economy in the Eurozone. Spain’s economy grew 1.8 percent in 2019 and 2.6 percent in 2018, exceeding the Eurozone average. Primary U.S. exports to Spain have consistently included aircraft and associated parts and equipment, pollution control and water resources equipment, medical products and equipment, telecommunications equipment, among others. As well, there are other sectors offering good prospects include defense, security equipment, renewable energy equipment and services, e-commerce, and industrial machinery.

These local/regional advocates for America's defense industry interests support the Pavilion and the collective U.S. presence at FEINDEF 2021.

Asociación Española de Empresas Tecnológicas de Defensa, Seguridad, Aeronáutica y Espacio (TEDAE)

This association integrates Spanish technological industries with a presence in the areas of aerospace, defense and security. It is a non-profit association created to represent and promote its members both nationally and internationally. Data from the last financial year available in 2019 show that the business network had a turnover of 13,040 million euros, exports 71% of its products and services, contributes 1% to the Gross Domestic Product of Spain, generates 57,600 highly qualified technical jobs and dedicates 9% of its turnover to R&D&I.

AESMIDE

AESMIDE was born in 1984 with the aim of serving as an interlocutor for service and supply companies before the Spanish Ministry of Defense.  Nowadays, it gathers 60 Contractor Companies with the Ministry of Defense, as well as with other Public Administrations from Spain and other States.

It is a non-profit association whose main purpose is to promote its member companies by encouraging and defending their capabilities in the domestic and foreign markets.

AESMIDE is a multi-sectorial Association, its companies are specialized, fundamentally, in the supply of diverse goods and services.

Aerospace Industries Association

The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) is the most authoritative and influential trade association representing the U.S. aerospace and defense industry on Capitol Hill, within the administration and internationally. Today, more than 325 major aerospace and defense companies and their suppliers are members of the association, embodying every high-technology manufacturing segment of the U.S. aerospace and defense industry including commercial aviation and avionics, manned and unmanned defense systems, and space technologies and satellite communications.
