Seoul ADEX will focus on:

Civil Aviation and MRO

  • Seoul ADEX will host buyers in the civil aviation industry looking for products and services to supply the growing need for industry modernization. Over 91% of total aerospace imports into South Korea are for commercial aircraft, parts and components. Of this total, 63 % were of U.S. origin in 2015.
  • The country’s MRO market is expected to grow 23.5%, to around $3.7 billion by 2020.

Military Aviation

  • The ROK's defense procurement agency, Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) — the sole government agency responsible for conducting and executing the procurement of all defense equipment for the country — will have a strong presence at the show and is a main supporter of Seoul ADEX. With South Korea's strong focus on U.S. military products, the U.S. DSCA/DoD will be involved in the FMS process with the ROK, and will be a large presence in the USA Partnership Pavilion supporting U.S. exhibitors during the show.

Defense Systems

  • For 2016, a total of $35.27 billion has been announced for South Korea’s defense budget.
  • With market share in the defense and aerospace sectors of 95% and 63% respectively, U.S. suppliers have the advantage over competitors from other countries.

The USA Partnership Pavilion is your export advantage at Seoul ADEX. Because it presents the highest concentration of U.S. equipment and services at the show, it's a magnet for buyers looking for American quality, innovation and partnership.

In addition to our complete suite of pre-show, on-site and post-show services, capitalize on the extra attention, activities and access we're planning to generate for American suppliers:

  • Anticipated industry briefings by Joint United States Military Affairs Group - Korea (JUSMAG-K), other government officials as well as representatives of local/regional utilities.
  • Participation of U.S. Commercial Service representatives from countries in and around the Asia-Pacific region.
  • DSCA (DoD) works closely with the USA Partnership Pavilion to ensure maximum exposure to buyers at the show.
