Abu Dhabi and Dubai, UAE and Waldwick, NJ / November 10, 2019 – Nearly 700 U.S. companies will exhibit at three major international industry trade events in the United Arab Emirates over the next three months: 196 at ADIPEC 2019, November 11-14 in Abu Dhabi; 136 at the Dubai Airshow 2019 November 17-21; and an estimated 350 at Arab Health 2020 January 27-30, also in Dubai.
The majority of American exhibitors at these events will be located in the USA Partnership Pavilion, organized by Kallman Worldwide, Inc., in coordination with government agencies including the U.S. departments of Commerce, Defense and State, and in collaboration with the leading trade groups focused on U.S./UAE partnership: AmCham Dubai, AmCham Abu Dhabi, and the U.S./UAE Business Council. The Pavilions are America’s headquarters on-site – an efficient location for regional buyers to meet more U.S. suppliers and a forum for all to share ideas and insights.
Kallman Worldwide has been organizing U.S. exhibitors at trade events around the world for more than 50 years, and in the Middle East since 1992 when it produced the “Rebuild Iraq” expo following the first Gulf War. Company President and CEO Tom Kallman said growing American participation in the USA Partnership Pavilion at UAE industry trade events reflects a global trend
“Now more than ever, success in international trade comes from partnership and teamwork. In the UAE and MENA region, the USA Partnership Pavilion sharpens our focus on advancing bilateral national security and economic interests by building stronger relationships between U.S. companies and our international customers,” Kallman said. “From publicly traded OEMs to small-and-medium sized enterprises, many of our exhibitors already have significant partnerships and operations here. In the years to come, many more will.”
The UAE has been the top U.S. export market in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region for the past 10 years and a critical regional hub for 1,500 American companies doing business throughout the MiddleEast, Africa and South Asia, according to the U.S. Commercial Service, the trade promotion arm of the United States Department of Commerce.
USA PAVILIONS GROW AT UAE TRADE EVENTS
The collective American presence at ADIPEC 2019, Dubai Airshow and Arab Health 2020 represents an estimated aggregate increase of nearly 17% over the immediate past editions, with 16% of U.S. exhibitors participating for the first time. This growth is a strong indication of the ever-increasing importance of the UAE market to the United States, and that more buyers and influencers throughout the region are looking to the U.S. for innovative solutions and partners to help ensure their defense and economic security.
