About the Show
The 2023 edition of DSEI was the most successful in its 24-year history, breaking all records in terms of attendance with numbers up by 23% compared to DSEI 2019. At its core was the steadfast commitment to ensure DSEI delivers valuable defense insights to all our customers, whether you’re an exhibitor, visitor, or representative from military or government.
The 2023 event hosted more than 1,500 exhibitors, with over 250 of those exhibiting for the first time, and gave visitors an opportunity to witness keynote speeches and outstanding displays of military capability. There was representation from the Global Combat Air Programme, a host of warships from the UK and visiting nations, and a plethora of aircrafts and land vehicles from the highest calibre of exhibitors.
We were pleased to observe an increase in the events’ global reach, welcoming many companies, visitors, and representatives from abroad. There were 36 international pavilions, including a special delegation from Ukraine. Over the course of the event, we welcomed a number of senior military and government attendees, with over 3,250 VIPs and delegations from 92 nations who came to witness the cutting-edge capabilities being developed by the defense and security industry.
