Bengaluru, India and Waldwick, NJ/February 19, 2019 — Three years since the United States designated India as a “Major Defense Partner,” military sales between the two countries are reported at an all-time high, a good sign for U.S. companies exhibiting this week at Aero India 2019 in Bengaluru, and their Indo-Pacific customers.

Aero India ranks among the largest aerospace and defense expos in the world, reflecting the scope and scale of the region’s growing economies and geo-political influence. The 2019 edition is expected to draw more than 60,000 trade visitors including numerous foreign buying delegations.

In testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee on February 12, Admiral Philip Davidson, Commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, heightened expectations for this year’s show. (https://american-eats.com/valium/) “The US-India strategic partnership continues to advance at an historic pace as we continue to increase our interoperability and information-sharing capabilities,” he said. “Defense sales are at an all-time high with India operating U.S.-sourced platforms such as P-8s, C-130Js, C-17s, AH-64s, CH-47s and M777 howitzers.”

More than 30 of America’s leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and suppliers, many with proven operating partnerships already in country, will try to build on that success this week. From airframes and engines to materials and components, U.S. exhibitors at Aero India represent a wide range of the nation’s most innovative and competitive aerospace and defense solutions.

The centerpiece of America’s effort at Aero India 2019 is the USA Partnership Pavilion in Hall E, organized for the fifth consecutive edition by Kallman Worldwide, Inc. Produced in coordination with government agencies, including the departments of Commerce, Defense, and State, the Pavilion is America’s headquarters on-site: an efficient location for buyers to meet more U.S. suppliers, a high-profile showcase for American exhibitors looking to maximize their exposure and impact at the event, and a forum for all to share ideas and insights.

“Now more than ever, success in international trade comes from partnership and teamwork. The USA Partnership Pavilion sharpens our focus on advancing America’s national security and economic interests by building stronger relationships with our international customers,” said Kallman Worldwide President and CEO Tom Kallman.

“Many of our exhibitors — from publicly traded stalwarts such as Collins Aerospace [NYSE: UTX], GE Aviation [NYSE: GE], Lockheed Martin Corp. [NYSE: LMT] and Raytheon [NYSE: RTN] to small- and medium-sized enterprises [SMEs] with fewer than 500 employees — already have significant partnerships and operations in India and across the Indo-Pacific region,” said Kallman. “In the years to come, I am confident many more will.”

EXPANDED PAVILION FEATURES SERVE MORE VISITORS ON-SITE AND ONLINE

In addition to presenting America’s leading aerospace and defense suppliers, the USA Partnership Pavilion serves the industry information needs of visiting buyers at The Newsstand, an on-site information center featuring a live, scrolling display of real-time show and market headlines on a centerpiece flat-screen monitor, flanked by take-away publications from the industry’s top publishers and show daily media.

For those on the go, whether they are attending the show or not, Kallman also presents the online Aero India 2019 Visitor Zone at www.kallman.com/aero-india-2019. The Visitor Zone features a centerpiece searchable Pavilion directory, plus interactive tools — including “Exhibitor Spotlight” news summaries and downloadable images.
