About the Show
First held in 2008, DIMDEX has witnessed continuous growth to become a leading event in the international maritime defense and security industry calendar. DIMDEX is much more than just an exhibition; the three-day event also features the international strategic Middle East Naval Commanders Conference (MENC), the visit of warships to Doha Commercial Port and elite VIP delegation visits.
Show Focus
The Middle East continues to provide a tremendous opportunity for maritime and defense companies to export into. Virtually every country in the region has increased their defense spending. U.S. companies have been fortunate to gain the lion’s share of this spending and it is expected to continue through 2024.
