About the Show
For one week every two years, Paris is the center of the aerospace universe, and the stars come out to shine.
Since the inaugural event at the Grand Palais in 1909, France’s passion for flight has uniquely fueled this world-class forum for pioneers, buyers and suppliers.
The 2023 event coincides with a decided uptick in demand across the global supply chain. Geo-political shifts and dynamic security risks are boosting defense budgets. New prosperity and mobility, particularly in the developing world, are enabling more people to travel, and pushing aircraft production to record levels. Indeed, the pace of innovation is propelling virtually every sector of this famously competitive industry to go higher, farther, faster than ever.
The 2019 edition of the Salon du Bourget hosted more than 2,450 exhibitors from 43 countries, and 315,000-plus visitors, including 304 official delegations representing 98 nations, and organizers are anticipating a record-breaker in 2023.
As industry grows, so grows the show. Whether you’re a perennial at Paris, a cyclical player or looking to make your debut in 2023, the question this year is not, “Why the Paris Air Show,” but rather, “Why not?"
We have exciting activities planned for the Pavilion during Public Weekend as we transform the USA Partnership Pavilion into SPACEPORT USA! Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with an Apollo 16 astronaut, see the stars in the planetarium, and take part in a range of hands-on STEM demonstrations spearheaded by the educational team from Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. Click here to let us know if you will be exhibiting with the USA Partnership Pavilion during Public Weekend and see how you can make a contribution!
