Kallman Worldwide’s USA Partnership Pavilion celebrates 20-year presence at Avalon by honoring international partnerships and inspiring future STEM leaders.
Waldwick, NJ, USA and Geelong, Australia / March 19, 2025 — Kallman Worldwide, Inc., organizer of the USA Partnership Pavilion, is proud to celebrate its 20-year presence at the Avalon Airshow 2025 with a series of special events highlighting innovation, collaboration, and the next generation of aerospace and defense leaders.
With 59 exhibiting American companies, the USA Partnership Pavilion is expected to be one of the largest contingents of country pavilions at the show. In addition to organizing a large national presence, Kallman Worldwide will also host events that range from meet and greets with legendary astronauts to industry briefing sessions and an award ceremony celebrating future STEM leaders.
The events kick off with Afternoon Tea with Astronauts, happening Monday, March 24 from 1:30-3:30 PM in Melbourne. The fundraising event will bring together industry leaders, government representatives, students, educators, and the larger community to celebrate and support the Endeavour Scholarship Foundation. There will be an opportunity to meet space legend Mike Bloomfield during an unforgettable afternoon of inspiration and STEM insights.
The next day, Kallman Worldwide will host the official Opening Ceremony of the USA Partnership Pavilion, in partnership with Boeing and Lockheed Martin Australia. The Opening Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, March 25, from 10:30 to 11:00 AM at The Forum, Booth #3K14, Hall 3. This prestigious gathering will feature remarks from high-ranking U.S. and Australian officials, followed by a ceremonial ribbon-cutting and photo opportunities. Invited guests of honor include:
- Erika Olson, Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy
- Lieutenant General Laura Lenderman, Deputy Commander of the Pacific Air Forces
- Lieutenant General Susan Coyle AM CSC DSM, Chief of Joint Capabilities
The ceremony will kick off the participation of 59 exhibiting American companies, showcasing cutting-edge aerospace, defense, and security technologies. This presence underscores the commitment of U.S. industry leaders to fostering innovation, trade, and strategic partnerships in the Indo-Pacific region.
As part of its commitment to shaping the future of STEM, Kallman Worldwide will also host a special ceremony recognizing the next generation of aerospace leaders. The Astronaut Al Worden Endeavour Scholarship Award Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, March 26, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at The Forum, Booth #3K14, Hall 3.
Astronauts Col. Mike Bloomfield (STS-86, 97, & 110) and Katherine Bennell-Pegg, will be present to congratulate the four Australian secondary students and STEM teacher selected for this prestigious scholarship. These recipients will travel to Space Camp USA later in the year, continuing the legacy of Apollo 15 astronaut Al Worden by inspiring young minds to reach for the stars. Past scholarship alumni will also be in attendance to share their experiences.
The Endeavour Scholarship provides life-changing opportunities for students and teachers to engage in immersive STEM learning experiences, fostering the next generation of aerospace and technology pioneers. Other events happening at the Avalon Airshow organized by Kallman Worldwide include a career program session entitled, “Dream Big: Journeys, Innovations, and Humanity in Space” designed to inspire students and professionals interested in aviation, aerospace, defense, and space, and a series of speakers and leadership sessions. These sessions will take place at The Forum, located near the USA Partnership Pavilion at booth #3K14, and include:
