About BIA 2022

Why exhibit at Bahrain International Airshow 2022?

From force modernization to expanding airport infrastructure, the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) attracts motivated buyers from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region searching for high-quality equipment, innovative technology and design, and extraordinary service presented in a highly personalized trade show environment.

Established in 2010, the 5th edition of the show, being held in 2022, will mark 12 years since the first planes took the sky for the Kingdom’s visitors. Held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamed bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the biennial event is renowned for its world-class facilities and intimate setting for delegates and exhibitors alike.Conveniently scheduled opposite the odd-year biennial Dubai Airshow, the 2022 edition will present an impressively diverse and dynamic aviation and aerospace marketplace, reflecting the Kingdom’s continued need to upgrade and modernize its air defenses and further improve its airport infrastructure.

Unique to this edition of the Bahrain International Airshow will be the awarding of the Astronaut Al Worden Endeavour Scholarship to four Bahraini students. These students, who are involved in or demonstrate a desire to further their studies in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, are chosen by the educational authority of Bahrain, to travel to, and participate in Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama.

Why exhibit in the USA Partnership Pavilion?

Your advantage at BIAS builds on a rocksteady 50-year strategic relationship between the United States and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

With as much as $3 billion in total goods transacted in 2018 between our countries, and with high-profile defense deals (19 F-16 Block 70s and Raytheon Patriot Missile System acquisition) being fulfilled, momentum is in America’s favor heading into the 2020 edition. Kallman’s decades of industry knowledge and long history of producing successful events in the MENA region uniquely positions us to help you at Sakhir Air Base. In particular, our influential relationships include direct access to the office of the Bahrain Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, partners at Farnborough International, AmCham executives, U. (www.treerush.com) S. Embassy staff, Commercial Service counselors, Defense Security Cooperation Agency leadership and the U.S. Aerospace Industries Association.

Make your connections to our stake holders at pavilion events, like the opening ceremony or VIP Networking Reception, which took place at the US Ambassador’s residence in 2018. If business with Bahrain or regional partners is what you are looking to foster, this airshow is a don’t miss.
