Nations’ exhibitors look to initiate/strengthen regional aerospace, defense and security partnerships
Rionegro-Antioquia, Colombia and Waldwick, N.J. / May 8, 2018 — U.S. and Canadian aerospace and defense companies looking to enter Latin American markets or expand business there have set their sights on the next edition of F-Air Colombia, July 11-14, 2019 in Rionegro-Antioquia, to strengthen partnerships with military and commercial buyers and influencers who are shaping the future of this growing regional marketplace.
The biennial event, Colombia’s largest and most diversified aerospace industry gathering, has designated the United States as its “Featured Nation,” ensuring extra attention to U.S. exhibitors among the hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of trade visitors expected to attend.
Key market sectors of interest and growth at the show include military modernization and expansion of civil aviation infrastructure, reflecting the host nation’s dynamic security needs and the expansion of its commercial transport sector.
The centerpiece of the national efforts will be the USA and Canada Partnership Pavilions, organized for the fourth consecutive edition by Kallman Worldwide, Inc., in coordination with numerous government agencies, including the U.S. departments of Commerce, Defense and State.
“Now more than ever, success in international trade comes from partnership and teamwork. The USA and Canada Partnership Pavilions sharpen our focus on helping advance our two countries’ national security and economic interests by building stronger relationships with our international customers,” said company President and CEO Tom Kallman. “Many of our exhibitors already have significant business partnerships and operations in Colombia and across Latin America. In the years to come, many more will.”
Located prominently in the show’s Main Pavilion, the USA and Canada Partnership Pavilions are full-service business destinations: efficient locations for buyers to meet more suppliers, on-site operations centers for exhibitors to maximize their exposure and impact at the show, and networking hubs for all to share ideas and insights.
In addition to space on site, USA and Canada Partnership Pavilion exhibitors will be featured in Kallman’s online F-Air Show Visitor Zone at kallman.com. The Visitor Zone features centerpiece searchable Pavilion directories, plus interactive tools — including Exhibitor News Summaries and images — to connect interested industry professionals and media around the world to the Partnership Pavilions, even if they can’t attend F-Air 2019 in person.
