ACF's novel, low-cost, Fi-Bar reinforcing fiber is a disruptive, multiple use, innovation that works in metals, ceramics and polymers just like "re-bar" is used in concrete. It's affordability, strength, high-temperature capability and corrosion resistance enables the design of products never before possible because of the performance limitations of existing materials. Fi-Bar can be incorporated into a variety of matrices, making composites 300-500% stronger and one-third lighter, improving its resistance to creep, oxidation, and abrasion.
