Bolstered by the USA’s “Lead Nation” status, and US-industry’s overwhelming reaction towards MSPO 2019, Apollo 15 Command Module Pilot, Col. Al Worden, USAF-Ret., one of the 12 remaining people to have traveled to the Moon and back will attend the show as a designated “VIP” and goodwill ambassador for the U.S. defense & security industry.
In addition to a schedule of official appearances, plus select meetings and hospitality events on behalf of U.S. participants, Col. Worden will join dignitaries and supporting partners during the show’s opening ceremony to present a Polish flag he carried to the Moon aboard Apollo 15 in the summer of 1971, to the President of Poland (or the highest ranking Polish government dignitary on-site).
