U.S. Oil & Gas Industry Suppliers Look to Grow Share of Offshore Markets at ONS 2018

AT ONS 2018, U.S. OIL & GAS INDUSTRY SUPPLIERS WILL PITCH INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS TO STRENGTHEN BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS ACROSS THE NORWEGIAN CONTINENTAL SHELF

Stavanger, Norway and Waldwick, N.J. / August 22, 2018 U.S. energy production, equipment and services suppliers will exhibit innovative technologies and engineering solutions to compete for new business on the Norwegian Continental Shelf during ONS 2018 next week.

Launched in 1974 when oil and gas were first discovered beneath the North Sea, ONS is well-established as the premier event for buyers and sellers representing the wide scope of primarily offshore energy interests across the region. This year’s event is expected to host more than 1,250 exhibitors and 65,000 trade visitors at the Stavanger Forum Conference and Exhibition Centre August 27-30.

“Norway and the United States’ natural resources and many advanced, technology-driven companies create highly attractive opportunities and synergies in industries such as offshore energy, cleantech, IT, robotics, transportation, maritime, safety, security, and defense,” said Vidar Keyn, Head of the Commercial Section in the U.S. Embassy, Oslo. “This ONS week is all about making those connections and getting wiser on how to drive successful developments in a rapidly changing world. “

Nearly 30 American companies will exhibit at this year’s event, almost half in the USA Partnership Pavilion, organized by Kallman Worldwide, Inc., the show’s official U.S representative, in coordination with government agencies, including the departments of commerce and state.

Located prominently in Hall 9, the Pavilion is America’s headquarters on-site: an efficient location for buyers to meet more U.S. suppliers, a professional business center for U.S. exhibitors looking to maximize their exposure and time at the event, and a forum for all to share ideas and insights.

“Now more than ever, success in international trade is driven by partnership and teamwork,” said Kallman Worldwide President and CEO Tom Kallman. “America’s presence at ONS, amplified by the USA Partnership Pavilion, is a strong indication of how important the region is to U.S. energy companies, and that buyers and influencers here are looking to the U.S. for innovative solutions and partners.”

EXHIBITOR HIGHLIGHTS
From data analytics and operating software to production equipment and workforce advocacy, the Pavilion is an end-to-end showcase of American ideas and innovation. Highlights include:

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (Booth 9225-J) promotes the art, science and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe. At ONS the society will share insights, ideas and information about the engineering profession and its services to support engineers.
